In spring, we experience the beginning of a new cycle in nature. Nature comes back to life and strong primal force comes out again. Energy shifts from yin to yang. As part of the ecosystem we feel that too. Nature is now pre-eminently the place to connect your own inner strength with this primal force of the earth and to become aware of this new cycle.
Do you want to experience and celebrate this magical moment consciously in a breathtaking place in the Norwegian mountains, while learning some ways to optimize your body & mind and to become more resilient towards daily life challenges?
Then this retreat is your perfect match!
You’ll enjoy 6 days full of exploration, movement, connection and relaxation through invigorating yoga, meditation, breath work, cold therapy, cacao ceremony and delicious vegetarian food, but you’ll also have free time for yourself to let it all digest and to meet with the other participants.
You’ll be in the expert hands of Dirk Janssen (Belgium) and Renata Rucka (Czech republic / Norway). Both have experience with arranging courses and retreats centered around cold therapy, breathwork, nature immersion, yoga, movement, mindfulness, meditation and general well being.

About Renata Rucka
Renata loves to guide yoga, meditation, cacao ceremonies and cold bathes, as these are beautiful ways to connect deeper inside, to the more subtle parts of our beings, as well as to our bodies and to the elements of nature.
Renata has been experimenting with different approaches to yoga and meditation and likes create exciting and unique fusions of these. She originates her guidance mostly in Strala yoga, an organic yoga style, a moving meditation based on breath body connection, natural movement and principles of Tai Chi. Strala helps cultivate grace and promote health in a way which feels natural.
Renata got enchanted by this yoga form already in 2014. She travelled to the NYC to meet the founders of Strala Yoga, Tara Stiles and Mike Taylor and participate on their teacher training. The following year she had an honour to spend a month as a guest yoga guide at their studio in Soho, which has been an amazing experience and big learning for her.
Renata is based in Tromsø, Northern Norway. A place with intense nature, open minded people from all around the world and a growing potential for new exciting projects.
She holds yoga classes, hosts cacao ceremonies and arranges retreats with yoga, meditation, cold bath and cacao.
About Dirk Janssen
Dirk is an experienced wild wellness coach and breathwork facilitator from Belgium, with an innate love for nature and its elements. He loves to coach individuals, teams and companies on their own journey by letting them experience different ways to optimize their connection with their inner nature and their innate full potential. He applies nature-based wellness practices for this, with the breath as great connector.
His own experience with life and training (Wim Hof Method instructor, forest bathing guide, breathwork facilitator, nature-based coaching and playful movement) make him the ideal guide on the way to a happy, strong and healthy life. Not only for people who are tired and looking for new energy, but also people who are curious about their strength and focus. Don't expect escapism, a floaty approach or an escape from society with him. He shows you the power of nature as a complement to everyday life and gives you practical tools to guide you through the rat race.
In principle, this retreat is suitable for everyone, but requires good basic health.
During the retreat the safety of each participant is always central. All exercises and challenges are non-binding: as a participant you decide how far you go. The cold training part includes exercises that continue at a temperature below 16 degrees.
In a number of exceptional cases, however, it is better not to participate in the cold training. As a precaution, we advise you not to participate if you are pregnant or suffer from epilepsy or Raynaud's syndrome type 2. People with a cardiovascular disorder or other serious health problems should consult their doctor before participating.
