Nøsen Yoga og Fjellhotell is located in magnificent, majestic surroundings that offer a wide variety of experiences for young and old, summer and winter. Around Nøsen there are several mountains of up to 1700 meters and good opportunities for skiing, cycling, canoeing and fishing. The hotel has been welcoming guests since 1888 under the name Nøsen Fjellhotell.
Alexander Medin took over the hotel in 2015 and opened what is now Nøsen Yoga og Fjellhotell. In 2016, Nøsen served as a refugee reception center and became an important platform for the community projects Gangster Yoga and Back In The Ring. Alexander is an experienced yoga instructor and is committed to yoga as a foundation for personal development.
The hotel has been refurbished and is now a place open to everyone and especially people who want to deepen their experience of yoga. A place, where the body and mind are strengthened, shoulders are lowered and nature is taken in. Every morning you can start your day with a yoga session. We regularly organize courses and workshops with Norwegian, European and international yoga teachers for yoga practitioners of all levels. At Nøsen, we invite you to relax, find harmony and joy – but most of all, to just BE.
In 2016, Nøsen served as a Syrian refugee camp. Here are some pictures from that time.
