Coffee Shop

We serve a wide selection of good coffee and if you prefer tea, we have chai masala, Japanese tea, green tea and much more. You can also buy cold drinks such as kombucha, ginger beer or simply a regular Solo or Pepsi.

Snacks include nuts, raw chocolate balls, several types of chocolate and occasionally we offer waffles, buns or a piece of cake.

The restaurant

We serve three meals a day - at set times - and all meals are vegetarian. We are proud of our food and see it as an important part of your stay with us. Our chefs prepare the food based on local ingredients and are often inspired by Indian cuisine. This results in tasty, nutritious and well-balanced meals that are served buffet-style at set times.

• Breakfast 09:00-10:00 - Several types of porridge, Nøsen's homemade sourdough and gluten-free bread, chia pudding and fresh fruit are regular features. Often there's an omelette, or something else good in addition. Cheese and jam are a matter of course.

• Lunch 13:00-14:00 - Lunch is delicious, hot, nutritious and filling with a couple of different main courses and often extra vegetables or a salad in addition. Rice, naan bread or pasta is often included as an accompaniment to the meal.

  Dinner at 18:00-19:00 - Dinner is often a little lighter than lunch. It's always a hot meal, often a tasty soup with extra vegetables and often a salad as well, plus fresh bread.

Of course, we take allergies into account and extra dishes can be prepared. All we ask is that you let us know in advance and our kitchen will take it into account.

Mealtimes are a great opportunity to get to know us and our activities, and to meet other guests. There's a high ceiling here, we love a good chat and the laughter is easy.

If you are not part of a retreat, just stopping by for a meal, or for some other reason do not have food included in your stay, the following prices apply:

• Breakfast - 200 NOK

• Lunch - 250 NOK

• Dinner - 200 NOK

• Lunch and Dinner - 400 NOK

We can prepare packed lunches for trips and travel. Please contact us by 19:00 the day before.

Please note: we do not normally serve alcohol. However, this can be arranged for closed parties such as weddings, birthdays etc.

Our products

We have some local, homemade products that we sell all year round. These include May-Rita's sourdough bread and baked goods. We can also make raw cakes, banana cakes, apple cakes or any other cakes you want.
