All workshops and events advertised by us or promoted by third parties are sold subject to the following Booking Conditions.
BOOKING PROCEDURE
On making a booking with us, each person traveling must accept the terms of these Booking Conditions.
Your booking is considered definite and a contract will exist between you and Nøsen only when a letter of confirmation has been sent to you. No contract will exist between us prior to our issuing the confirmation letter.
2. WORKSHOP AND HOTEL ROOM PRICES
Workshop/retreat prices and what is included is stated individually for each workshop.
Hotel room prices vary within seasons and dates and we reserve the right to change the prices accordingly.
We reserve the right to change the prices published prior to the time that you book your stay.
3. ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
You can check-in after 3 pm on the scheduled date of your arrival unless you purchase an early check-in which is a subject to availability.
Late arrivals after 8 pm must inform the hotel and we will find a solution how you can check-in and find your room.
Check-out is at 11.00 AM on the departure date.
Late check-out will be charged with 100 NOK per hour. Late check-out must be requested in advance, and is subject to availability. Check-outs after 2.00 PM will be charged as an extra night.
If you have purchased snacks or drinks from our café, and leave without paying for these, we will charge it to the card that we have on file.
4. NON-SMOKING POLICY
In keeping with the global initiative and while adhering to applicable laws, we strive to accord a smoke-free environment for all our guests, visitors, and employees. This smoke-free environment is to be maintained, and hence smoking is strictly prohibited in the entire hotel. This includes guest rooms, corridors, bars, and lavatories.
Those not complying with the smoke-free law will be committing an offence against the law. The fixed penalty notice applicable to the person smoking is kr 5000. We kindly request you to respect the law and abstain from smoking in the hotel.
5. PETS
Nøsen Yoga og Fjellhotell is a pet-friendly hotel. There are extra charges for dog-friendly rooms, 150 NOK per night. Please, make sure you inform us if you are bringing your four-legged friend with you so we can book an appropriate room for you.
Pets are not allow the animals to enter the kitchen, dining room, living room, and yoga/meditation rooms.
The owner is responsible and will carry all costs for any possible damage the animal can cause.
The animal must be under the owner’s supervision when being out of his or her room.
6. CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICIES
6.1. CANCELLATION BY YOU
You (or any member of your party) may cancel your stay at any time providing that the cancellation is made by the person submitting the booking form and is communicated to us in writing. Cancellation will take effect the day such notification is sent. As this incurs administrative costs, we will refund you the paid fee proportionally.
The cancellation policy applies both for hotel stays and workshops/events.

More than 91 days - 90 % of payment
90 to 15 days - 50% of payment
14 - 8 days - 25% of payment
Less than 7 days - payments are not refundable
Upon delivering a medical record from a doctor, a 75% refund is guaranteed for announced cancellations before the workshop begins.
Once your holiday has commenced, no refund or part refund or unused portion of your holiday will be repaid in the event of cancellation by you.
Cancellations of bookings made through other operators than through our websites, such as Booking.com, AirBNB, Novasol.no or Expedia, will be charged according to their stated policies.
Additional charges for parking and electric car charging:
Parking at the hotel is available for free for hotel guests, restaurant guests, and retreat participants.
Other visitors are charged 100 NOK per 24 hours or 500 NOK per 7 days.
Charging of electric car is charged 300 NOK per 24 hours.
6.2 CANCELLATION AND AMENDMENTS BY US
Nøsen Yoga og Fjellhotell reserves the right in any circumstances to cancel your stay in which case we will offer a refund in full.
It is unlikely that we will have to make any changes to your holiday, but we do plan the arrangements many months in advance. Occasionally, changes may have to be made (e.g. changes in the program, type of accommodation, yoga teacher), which we reserve the right to do at any time. Changes are normally minor, and we will advise you as soon as possible. If the type of your accommodation must be changed, we will do our utmost to provide accommodation of a similar or higher rating.
Important NotesCompensation will not be paid if Nøsen Yoga og Fjellhotell is forced to cancel or in any way change your holiday due to war, the threat of war, riot, civil strife, industrial dispute, terrorist activity, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, adverse weather conditions, technical or maintenance problems with transport, or other circumstances which amount to force majeure.
6.3. CANCELLATIONS RELATED TO COVID-19
CANCELLATION BY YOU
If you have to cancel your stay (workshop or hotel stay) due to strict regulations that your commune obliged you to follow, will Nøsen Yoga og Fjellhotell offer you the opportunity to use the paid amount as credit valid for the following 12 months.
CANCELLATION BY US
We strive our best to find alternative dates for all events that had to cancel due to any new governmental recommendations related to Covid-19. All participants are guaranteed a spot in the postponed event. In case you cannot attend on those new dates, can Nøsen Yoga og Fjellhotell offer you a 100% credit valid for the following 12 months.
If Nøsen Yoga og Fjellhotell has to cancel an event because of Covid-19 restrictions without offering alternative dates for your event, will you be refunded in the full amount.
7. INSURANCE & HEALTH
WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU HAVE FULL TRAVEL INSURANCE TO COVER MEDICAL EXPENSES AND PERSONAL BELONGINGS.
You should have your own travel insurance and provide us with those details in case of emergency. You should also check with your doctor that you are sufficiently fit and healthy to undertake yoga classes and any other physical activity we have arranged, or you may arrange during your stay.
8. OUR LIABILITY TO YOU
We accept responsibility for ensuring that the holidays that you book with us are supplied as described and that the services we are contractually obliged to provide are to a reasonable standard. We accept responsibility for the acts and/or omissions of our employees, agents and suppliers except where they lead to death, injury or illness (see below).
We accept responsibility for death, injury or illness caused by the negligent acts and/or omissions of our employees or agents, together with our suppliers and sub-contractors, servants and/or agents of the same whilst acting within the scope of, or in the course of their employment in the provision of your holiday. We will, accordingly, pay to our client such damages as might have been awarded in such circumstances under Norwegian law.
Optional trips booked locally are not our responsibility.
9. COMPLAINTS
If you have a problem during your holiday, please inform a member of our team immediately, who will endeavor to put things right. If your complaint cannot be resolved locally, you must advise us in writing on your return. Please note that we cannot guarantee the proportion of males/females in any group, and cannot be responsible for the individual behavior of any group member or other guest at your accommodation.
10. PASSPORTS, VISAS AND HEALTH REQUIREMENTS
You are responsible for ensuring that you have a valid passport and any necessary visas and any necessary or required inoculations or other health requirements.
11. PRIVACY POLICY
We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal information with care. All information will be used for internal purposes only and will not be shared with any third parties.
11.1 CUSTOMER DATA RETENTION AND MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS
By booking a retreat or workshop at Nøsen Yoga and Mountain Resort, you agree that we may use your email address to send you information about similar products, services, and special offers based on our legitimate interest in maintaining a relationship. We typically retain customer data for up to 5 years from your last interaction or booking, as we find that many guests return to enjoy our services within this period. We periodically review our records to ensure they remain accurate and relevant. 12. RENTAL OF EQUIPMENT
All use of the Rental Properties is entirely at your own risk. This means that the tenant can not claim compensation from Nøsen Yoga og Fjellhotell unless any damage, including but not limited to personal and property damage, occurs as a direct result of a grossly negligent act.
The tenant is fully and completely responsible for all rented and lent equipment during the rental period. If any of the equipment is damaged, lost or stolen, the tenant will be charged the expenses associated with this in full.
