Give yourself these days to set aside routines, obligations and expectations. Daniela invites you to make the space to find and reconnect with the sparkling light within you. This will be a peaceful weekend surrounded by Norwegian nature, yoga practice, art workshops and delicious plant based food, which will nourish you from inside out.

This weekend will allow peeling off your layers; starting from the physical body aiming to your deepest and most sacred place within. It is an opportunity to practice yoga postures-asanas and learn breathing exercises-pranayama for the physical body in a safe environment, as well as to practice meditation and mantras to find mental peace. In addition, there will be an internal exploration in a joyful and free way through the creation of visual arts.

Yoga and psychology are mental disciplines, which aim to make one self feel more fulfilled. Yoga is the oldest and purest form of psychology. By the principle that Yoga is the cessation of the disturbances of the mind, Patanjali gives notice to the mental strength that we can develop through this practice. He reminds us of that the internal and external distractions lead to misery, but gives us a path to find peace and joy by stopping them. Interestingly enough, Freud points out that the unconscious mind makes a person act in a certain way or another. In both disciplines, modifications or disturbances in the mind are unconscious, enabling consciousness to be awakened for a better life.

In Yoga, the body is the means by which we can purify, find and transform ourselves. The asana practice and breathing exercises will enable us to go through a journey from the physical body towards the deepest and most sacred place within ourselves. Daniela aims to combine traditional methods of Yoga practice together with her expertise in Psychology and Art Therapy, providing a playful way to reconnect with yourself

Daniela found yoga in London in 2007 whilst studying a Masters in Psychoanalysis. As a psychologist, she’s always been fascinated by the human mind. With a passion for sports, loving anything that makes the body feel alive and loving Arts and Nature, she found the perfect union of all her passions in yoga.
Daniela has left her profession aside to be fully dedicated to teach and expand her learning in Yoga. In 2011 she became a Hatha Yoga teacher and has been practicing and learning from recognised teachers based on the Bishnu Ghosh lineage.

She has also been practicing ashtanga-vinyasa yoga since 2016 and has been learning with R. Saraswasti Jois and with Rolf Najoukat in India.  She became a Yoga teacher for children in 2016 and holds a certification from Kaivalyadham Institute- India in Traditional Yoga/ Philosophy. Since 2011, Daniela has had the fortune of sharing her passion in numerous countries in the world.

After nine years of studies in Mental Health –Psychology, Psychoanalysis and Art Therapy, Daniela is convinced yoga heals people’s minds and bodies in a very integral way.

Yoga makes you love yourself and become a better person for the world. Yoga makes you see how strong you can be when you feel weak and reminds you how vulnerable you are when you feel strong.
