We welcome you to this long weekend retreat where you can get in deeper contact with yourself using mindful compassion and gentle yoga. Through this healing journey we will create a safe space where you can heal your wounds, transcend old blocks and soften rigid patterns, opening the way for a more authentic kind of love. In healing ourselves we can have better relations with the people around us; our friends, family, partner, colleagues, and strangers. And we can learn to meet even the ones we have difficulty and conflict with in a wiser and more compassionate way.

Our tools will be the practice of mindfulness, compassion, expressive art therapy, and soft yoga. We will work on setting healthy boundaries, getting in touch with our needs, expressing them, and developing healthy new patterns of relating and responding with compassion instead of defensive reactions. And we will explore the practice of forgiveness and letting go of the things which hold us back so that we can surrender to our true selves.

This is a retreat to heal our self, so that we can heal our relationships.

Everyone is welcome, no prior yoga experience necessary.

She has developed yoga as a therapy form and used the powerful tools of yoga and mindfulness in hospitals, in the outpatient clinic and in her private practice as a psychotherapist. She is passionate about how yoga works as a medicine in the face of mental ailments such as stress, trauma and anxiety, and how a regular yoga practice can contribute to increased awareness, deeper presence and compassion in meeting with ourselves and others. She has experienced how a regular yoga practice can contribute to a desire to make a difference in the world, and has taken yoga from mat and into the world through her events "Love as Medicine" which is a movement where the intention is to create hope and transformation in psychiatry.
