Yoga Festival Norway Program
This retreat is for beginners, yoga enthusiasts, and serious practitioners alike. Everyday and throughout the whole day, you will be able to choose between two different levels of meditation, yoga, and pranayama classes, adapted to your needs, preferred yoga style, and level of experience. The festival will represent a great occasion to practice and learn about a varied mix of well-respected and accredited yoga disciplines, styles, and lineages.
Among those, there will be time to practice Acroyoga, Restorative, Ashtanga, and Jivamukti yoga. Classical meditation exercises and pranayama techniques from various traditions and lineages will be the subject of daily classes, to allow all yoga practitioners to enrich their practice and deepen their understanding and experience of yoga. The days will have a somewhat fixed structure with lots of different classes, giving you freedom to decide which classes to attend.
The festival, focusing on contemplation, commonality, and time for self-reflection, will focus around the theme, "we are all beginners." Participants will concentrate on shared, foundational principles in yoga and Buddhism, and reflect about the meaning and value of a lifelong practice. The festival aims to celebrate yoga as an everyday practice, and offers participants an opportunity to integrate yoga into their lives, offering clarity, calm, self-awareness, and well-being.
There is a lot to celebrate and be grateful for in life, and that is even easier to feel while at Nøsen. The combination of the beauty and abundance of Norwegian nature, together with the practice of yoga, is something that should be cherished, appreciated, and never taken for granted. Nature and yoga enrich each other, enrich people as humans and as individuals, enrich the senses, and support the practice.
