A new year is ahead and it is almost the end of the winter. This is a great opportunity to give yourself the days and set aside routines, obligations and expectations. Daniela invites you to make the space to find and reconnect with the light within you in this new beginning. This will be a peaceful weekend surrounded by Norwegian nature, yoga practice, art workshops and delicious vegetarian food, which will nourish you from inside out.

This weekend will allow peeling off your layers; starting from the physical body aiming to your deepest and most sacred place within. It is an opportunity to practice yoga postures-asanas and learn breathing exercises-pranayama for the physical body in a safe environment, as well as to practice meditation and mantras to find mental peace. In addition, there will be an internal exploration in a joyful and free way through the creation of visual arts.

Yoga and psychology are mental disciplines, which aim to make one self feel more fulfilled. Yoga is the oldest and purest form of psychology. By the principle that Yoga is the cessation of the disturbances of the mind, Patanjali gives notice to the mental strength that we can develop through this practice. He reminds us of that the internal and external distractions lead to misery, but gives us a path to find peace and joy by stopping them. Interestingly enough, Freud points out that the unconscious mind makes a person act in a certain way or another. In both disciplines, modifications or disturbances in the mind are unconscious, enabling consciousness to be awakened for a better life.

In Yoga, the body is the means by which we can purify, find and transform ourselves. The asana practice and breathing exercises will enable us to go through a journey from the physical body towards the deepest and most sacred place within ourselves. Daniela aims to combine traditional methods of Yoga practice together with her expertise in Psychology and Art Therapy, providing a playful way to reconnect with yourself.
