Welcome to beautiful Nøsen for an enrichment, deepening, and exploration of what yoga is.

This week is for those of you who want to develop your practice and build up good routines in everyday life that strengthen your yoga experience.

The days begin with early morning meditation/japa, followed by physical practice and breathing exercises. The afternoons are used for technique studies and practical yoga philosophy or soft yoga and breathing exercises that promote peace of mind and well-being. The participants will be divided into two groups each morning according to wishes and needs. A Led Class and a Mysore class.

The philosophy classes this week will focus on the ancient Sankhya system which laid the foundation for the entire Yoga tradition and many other Indian traditions. We will look at the origins of this in the Upanishad scriptures, the Sankhya Karika and how this discipline was instrumental in the development of the Yoga Sutras and all practical yoga philosophy.

Nøsen is situated in magnificent undisturbed natural surroundings and there is plenty of time every day to go for walks, enjoy the silence, swim in mountain water, cycle, paddle or just lie in the grass and relax. We have canoe, SUP and bicycle hire for those who want it.

We serve an exquisite vegetarian meal and three meals per day are included in the price together with accommodation in a double or triple room. If you want a single room, there will be a small addition to the price.

This course is suitable for all levels and we will help you to find specialization according to your requirements and capacity. You will definitely get some good tools that will enrich your own practice, yoga and life as a whole.

Welcome to Nøsen. Come and enjoy the tranquility of the mountains, feel strength in your own practice and treat yourself to some healthy taste experiences that give lightness to the body and promote health and well-being on all levels.
