About Kino & Tim
Kino MacGregor and Tim Feldmann are the co-founders of the world renown Miami Life Center and of the newly opened Miami Yoga Garage. They met in India over 20 years ago through Ashtanga Yoga and have built their life together around their shared spiritual practice. Kino and Tim live in Miami where they enjoy walks on the beach, growing mangos and the Florida sunshine. Together, they are known to bring a magical synergy to the yoga room. Their teaching is filled with compassion, authenticity and inspiration developed from more than 20 years of personal disciplined practice.
Originally from Denmark, Tim is authorized Level 2 by K. Pattabhi Jois and R. Sharath Jois and has been practicing yoga since 1994. Drawing upon his past as an internationally successful dancer and acclaimed choreographer, anatomy, alignment and technique form an integral part of his teaching. Under the guidance of Vidwan Nagaraja Rao, Jayashree, Narasimha, and other exceptional scholars in South India, Tim has studied the teachings of Patañjali, Sankhya and Vedanta extensively.
Looking for the tools to live a peaceful life, Kino stumbled into a yoga class at 19, traveled to India when she was 22, met her teachers K. Pattabhi Jois and R. Sharath Jois, and has been practicing ever since. Her daily sadhana consists of Vipassana meditation and Ashtanga Yoga and her teaching derives from these two traditions. Founder of Omstars.com, author of five books, producer of the Yoga Inspiration podcast, with over 1 million followers on Instagram, over 800,000 subscribers on YouTube and more on other social channels, Kino is a leading voice of the yoga community.
