The Joy of Ayurveda retreat will inspire you to learn and discover the traditional art of the Indian medicine, Ayurveda.
Ayurveda is one of the oldest medicine in the world and the Sanskrit word itself can be translated as ”the sacred knowledge of life”. Ayurveda, through a holistic approach, reaches to understand how your body, emotions, and sensations work around different seasons while defining the role of five elements that compose not only our environment but also our bodies.
This weekend is perfect for those who would like to learn how to cook according to a body type(s) to balance body, mind and soul. You will know your Ayurvedic constitution through an Ayurvedic test and at the end of the weekend, you will have good theoretical knowledge and overview about the Ayurvedic history and philosophy of Ayurveda, and furthermore you will be able to practically implement it while preparing yourself a tasty and healthy meal. During our cooking classes, you will learn the fundamental principles of cooking with Ayurveda, the importance of six tastes, and how to use spices and herbs to create balanced and delicious meals. You will be able to understand the role of five elements in your body.
You will travel into yourselves with different afternoon activities like concentration techniques, open senses and chakras meditation. Furthermore, Bruno will share with you how to improve your health by auto-massage with all the benefits you can gain from practicing it on a regular basis.
This week, The Joy of Ayurveda will wake up your senses, balance your body and mind, and you will get into the real self with a mindfulness holiday.
