We will gather and practice the basics of yoga, spend time in beautiful nature, and enjoy awesome food made by Nøsen's main chef from India (expect a delicious nutritious buffet, which will nourish your senses & body).

If you consider yourself to be a bit stiff, not so bendy, and kind of new in the yoga world, plus you want to relax, and learn how to improve & manage your energy level, then this can be the perfect yoga weekend for you.


About Masha:

Masha has been teaching basic & accessible yoga for the past 8 years here in Oslo, to regular, non-bendy people, who have everyday busy lives, and really can't reach those toes.

She has been in the same place, with a stiff body and discomfort, because of too much office work, lethargic, and a bit overwhelmed because sometimes life was hectic. But then, she discovered yoga here in Oslo, and it was love at the first practice. Yoga helped her to feel better and be more energized, and at the same time, she was able to regulate her stress and relax. Soon, she became a yoga teacher, and her love for yoga became a full-time job.

Her approach to yoga is that simple is better, and the basics of yoga are the foundations which we build upon. We practice what is best for us and adjust the practice to our body, our current state, and how we feel when we practice.

She studied with John Bentham, Duncan Wong, Janet Stone, Uma Dinsmore Tuli, Tracee Stanely, and Heart & Bones yoga school.

 

This weekend you will practice:

  • strengthening morning flow (Vinyasa) classes that will have simple and effective movements to increase your energy level through movement, and bring more mobility and strength into the body

  • explore basic yoga positions, like mountain pose, forward fold, warrior one, two, and three, and standing balancing positions, and understand how to adjust those positions to yourself and what is best for you

  • you will learn how to do simple breathing exercises which will help you to start up your day with a bit more ease

  • learning how to relax with yin and yoga Nidra at evening Yin classes

There will be free time to go for short walks and enjoy the mountain air, swim in the lake, or just rest in the sunshine.

We start on Thursday, arriving during the afternoons, and end on Sunday, departing after lunch. ee the detailed schedule below

Price and Booking:

Single Room: 5750 nok

Twin Room: 4850 nok

Group Room: 3950 nok

Price includes:

  • Accommodation for three nights, possibility to stay in single, double, or group rooms. 

  • 3 nutritious veggie meals per day. On Friday we have dinner, on Sunday there is breakfast and lunch

  • Snacks and tea

Price does not include:

  • Our cafe offer

  • Extra towels and linen

  • Transportation and pick-up to/from Fagerns or Gol

Extra services: 

If traveling by public transport, pick up by Nøsen Yoga is possible for additional costs. From Fagernes one way 200 nok and from Gol one way 250 nok.

  • No refund is possible in case of your cancellation, but you may find another person who may step in instead of you. Also, check with Masha, maybe there is a waiting list, so your spot can be taken with another person.
