 Welcome dear you. Welcome to an immersive retreat experience where we learn, explore and unravel our relationship with rest through yoga nidra, movement, inquiry and ceremony. Our home for our 4 days together is Nøsen Fjellhotell, in the awe-inspiring Norwegian mountains.

About Rachel & Claudia

Rachel and Claudia, the creators of Norway’s most in-depth Yoga Nidra and deep rest teacher training, come together to hold space and support you on your journey towards becoming The Rested You. This is the you who is already whole.

Claudia Menger

Claudia is a yoga teacher and women's coach, specializing in therapeutic feminine yoga and Yoga Nidra. She believes in living working, and practicing yoga, according to the menstrual cycle, and she’s passionate about the practice of rest - especially through Yoga Nidra. Claudia is educated in traditional Hatha yoga, vinyasa, prenatal, postnatal, fertility, Nidra, yin, and restorative yoga, and has completed courses on meditation, the pelvic floor, trauma, perinatal mental health, and grief. She’s also a holistic health coach specializing in menstrual cycle health. Originally from the Netherlands, Claudia now lives in Oslo with her husband, son (6), and baby daughter (2).

Rachel Brownbridge

Rachel is a compassionate, holistic guide, mentor and thought leader who works alongside you to fortify your mind body AND your intuition to offer a uniquely cohesive holistic practice.
She believes that by understanding how your thoughts and behaviors affect your well-being, you can alter your focus and create your desired reality. Rachel recognizes that rest and the multitude of benefits we receive from it are powerful tools for health & well-being. Rachel is also a 500-hour LYT Yoga teacher, reiki & root cause practitioner, and her current influences are Lara Heimann & Tracey Stevens. You'll find UK-born Rachel living in The Norwegian mountains of Geilo where she & her partner Mikkel have lived for 9 years.

In our time together we will explore this feeling of wholeness through various healing modalities that we have studied, explored and shared in our teachings with various groups and individuals. 

Come and celebrate the shift of seasons from spring to summer together, in a beautiful community of fellow resting people. Every day includes rest, movement, reflection and integration, and Rachel and Claudia are here to hold space for your personal journey.  

This immersive retreat is open to anyone who wishes to bring more rest into their life. You don’t need any prior yoga (nidra) experience. The whole of you is welcome here.

Please note: this is not your typical luxury retreat experience. Instead, it’s an experience of learning and unraveling, surrounded by abundant nature in a safe, nurturing yoga environment.
