Have you never done yoga before, or have you done a little but feel that you need to refine your technique and perhaps gain a deeper understanding of the basic principles of ashtanga yoga? This is the course for you!

During the course we will practice breathing techniques, focus points and techniques to remember the sequence. We will carefully go through the standing sequence and part of the primary series so that you will feel confident in the positions and can take your own practice home to the living room floor or out into the world.

If you think that your body is too stiff to do yoga, we are more than ready to prove you otherwise. Yoga is for absolutely everyone, and by modifying the positions where necessary, you will build up a stable, safe and highly nourishing practice.

We start each morning with a guided yoga practice and meditation. In the afternoons we will go more thoroughly through technique and give tips and advice for better flow and how we can best work with the challenges that arise.

We serve delicious, nutritious vegetarian food for all meals. Three meals per day are included in the price together with accommodation in a double or triple room. If you want a single room, there will be a small addition to the price.

Nøsen is located in magnificent, undisturbed natural surroundings and there is plenty of time every day to go for walks, enjoy the silence, swim in mountain water, cycle, paddle or just lie in the grass and relax.

About Eva

Eva Antonie Brozova began his studies in ashtanga yoga in Prague Shala with Denise Sengerova. After she moved to Norway about 7 years ago, she studied and practiced with Alexander Medin. She has a degree in economics and first came to Norway to study environmental science. Then she met Alexander for the first time and afterwards the road to Nøsen was short. Today, Eva is the general manager at Nøsen, where she has lived permanently for the past 6 years. She sees the practice of yoga as a practice in living good lives. What we do in our daily lives affects what we do on the yoga mat - and vice versa. If we learn to relax, that feeling will stay with us for the rest of the day, no matter what tasks we face.

Price for the retreat

  • Shared room: NOK 5050 per person

  • Twin room: NOK 6,250 per person

  • Single room: NOK 7,050 per person

  • Double room: NOK 7,450/for 1 person)/ NOK 10,600 (for 2 people)

Price includes:

  • Accommodation for 5 nights in shared, double or single rooms at Nøsen Yoga and Fjellhotell (or cabins)
