MOTTO: Yes it is for you. Everyone can do and enjoy acroyoga. It is a spiritual community practice
Embark on this weekend summer retreat at Nøsen Yoga and mountain lodge. Through the worksho you will experience the joy and delight of playing and having fun together, immersing yourself in thestrengthening practice of Acroyoga.
Acroyoga is a community- based practice that encourages personal transformation. You will experience the full spectrum of your being through opportunities to: give and receive, support and be supported, experience strength and sensitivity. It is a systematic approach to health and healing designed to be accessible to every practioner. The best part is that it is fun to do and fun to watch.
The retreat focuses on the refinement of sensitivity of contact, on deepening communication skills and on increasing awareness about the capacity to trust and support within the practice. It will support the feeling of belonging to the community as well.
You will get the chance to slow down, taking the time to connect to yourself, at beautiful Nøsen mesmerized by the sound and beauty of nature, healthy food, indoor and outdoor practices and tranquility.
OBS: The acroworkshop will be taught in Norwegian. BUT we both speak English and can teach it in English if most participants speak English.
Content:
Through the practice you will get an introduction to the basics of acroyoga, such as keeping the shape, when to round and when to arch, how to breathe, where to focus, how to communicate and practice safely and more. During the workshop everyone will get to try both flying, basing and spotting.
For the beginner level we will practice basic acroyoga poses and flows like – bird, throne, foot to shin, whale and how to combine them into a flow. You will also be introduced to poses like star and sidestar and start to practice washing machines like Ninjastar
If you are at an intermediate level and this is easy for you, you can progress to washing machines like Ninjastar and fourstep more quickly and we can also try some pops from bird to seated and back
In the end of the workshop you will have one or more acroyoga washing machines under your belt that you can continue to practice in your community.
