We invite you to embark on a culinary journey at peaceful Nøsen in the summer! You can immerse yourself in a unique Nøsen cuisine inspired by Indian, Nepalese, and Tibetan traditions, rich with spices and curries. You will be cooking under the guidance of our head chef, Prasad Pandey Narayan.
The days begin with early morning meditation, followed by a yoga practice and breathing exercises. After breakfast, you will receive a short theoretical lecture by our head chef learning about the basic techniques, and origins of the recipe. After that, you will be participating hands-on in the preparation process and learn about the practical use of a large variety of spices and food combinations. With this, you will be able to prepare the dishes for your loved ones at home. You will learn how to prepare kitchari with the proper ingredients, how to make good dahl, brew tasty chai, bake chapati and naan, but also how to make a couple of tasty Indian desserts that will tickle your taste buds.
Before dinner, the days end with a light yoga practice or a preparation for the second day in the kitchen - depending on the complexity of the meal.
Nøsen is located in magnificent undisturbed natural surroundings and there is plenty of time every day to go hiking, swimming or just enjoying the silent environment.
Welcome to Nøsen. Enjoy the tranquillity of the mountains and treat yourself to healthy taste experiences that provide lightness in the body and lasting well-being.
