The instinct for freedom beats deeply in the heart of every human.
The longing for containment and connection pulses within every living being.
This weekend retreat is an experiential opportunity to rest, relax and go a little deeper towards yourself: body, heart, mind, and inner life. Together, we will explore meditative practices for embodiment, grounding, centering, and well-being.
"Mindfulness is a natural human ability to be present in life. Understanding what it means to be in the moment, without assessing or criticizing yourself or the outside world. This is something everyone can do naturally.”
We will work with various aspects of mindfulness practice including YogaSOMATICS movement, myofascial (bindevev) unwinding, breathwork, practices to connect to your heart and awaken empathy, inner exercises for the energy body, mindfulness sitting practice, and meditative inquiry throughout the weekend.
ENJOY THE SILENCE. While not a strictly silent retreat, throughout the weekend we will invite the group to enjoy longer periods of silence and reflection.
Our weekend will include:
YogaSOMATICS practice for grounding and well-being in the body
A -B-C´s of a Mindfulness Practice - both sitting and in movement
Meditation in contact with wild nature
Learn the “3-minute meditation massage” to help energy flow more freely
Deep Relaxation, Body scan & Yoga Nidra
Dreamwork - Understanding the deeper meaning of your dreams
Gentle hands-on healing practices with a partner for relaxation
Enjoy the magic of a Mindful Cacao Ceremony
This weekend retreat is practice-oriented with the opportunity for questions and answers.
We will practice cultivating non-judgmental and accepting awareness of thoughts, feelings, senses, and body sensations that arise from moment to moment. From this more relaxed and current state of being, we can begin to meet other people in a more open and empathetic way.
This is a weekend for yourself, inner contact, and the opportunity for new insights.
This workshop is open to all adults who are curious and open about exploring life energy and being present with life-as-it-is. No experience is required.
Beginners will appreciate the ease and new sensations of the wellbeing of this practice. Advanced practitioners and teachers of all kinds of yoga, movement, and dance will appreciate a new perspective and be supported by a very experienced teacher in new discoveries. This retreat is also very well suited for couples who wish to spend a weekend of deeper contact together in a meditative practice.
Ateeka teaches in English and Ola teaches in Norwegian and English - as the group needs.
