The next teacher training, which we have now chosen to call Sadhana Intensive, is a 200-hour immersion in Yoga; philosophy and asana.
It requires solid self-discipline, continuity in self-practice and a devotion to studying the classic texts on yoga. When yoga has become more rooted in the individual, it is easier to share personal experiences in the field than disillusions about what yoga is or should be. Awakening a true experience of yoga in our practitioners is therefore the main focus of this course, not necessarily to become an instructor. The “calling” to instruct will come naturally to those who want it after their own experience, no education will be able to create it. This course is challenging and time-consuming on a physical and mental level, but for those who are persistent and work in a disciplined way, a true joy will be awakened in the heart and new, clear perspectives will emerge in the mind. This training focuses primarily on Ashtanga yoga as a yoga discipline. Participants are expected to have a well-established asana self-practice, i.e. daily practice for at least a couple of years.
The number of participants is set to 22 students.
