Nøsen Yoga og Fjellhotell is located in magnificent, majestic surroundings that offer a wide variety of experiences for young and old, summer and winter. Around Nøsen there are several mountains of up to 1700 meters and good opportunities for skiing, cycling, canoeing and fishing. The hotel has been welcoming guests since 1888 under the name Nøsen Fjellhotell.
Alexander Medin took over the hotel in 2015 and opened what is now Nøsen Yoga og Fjellhotell. In 2016, Nøsen served as a refugee reception center and became an important platform for the community projects Gangsteryoga and Back In The Ring. Alexander is an experienced yoga instructor and is committed to yoga as a foundation for personal development. The hotel has been refurbished and is now a place where everyone can come to strengthen body and mind, lower their shoulders, take in nature and practice yoga in a generous and warm environment.
Nøsen is open to everyone and especially people who want to deepen their experience of yoga. Every morning you can start your day with a yoga session. We regularly organize courses and workshops with Norwegian, European and international yoga teachers for yoga practitioners of all levels. At Nøsen, we invite you to relax, find harmony and joy, and just BE.
In 2016, Nøsen served as a Syrian refugee camp. Here are some pictures from that time.
